I've recently created The Rise Above Directory...the best directory I've seen to date for finding do-follow blogs.
But I also ran across this little widget and thought it was worth putting it in a place I could remember it and tell others to come find it. The widget was created by someone who liked the idea of the CommentLuv and KeywordLuv plugins for Wordpress. These plugins take the idea of linking back to your commenters a step further. One of them allows you to use your real name (instead of calling yourself "Plasma TVs), which can only be a good thing. The other one go even further...searching your site to see if it's a blog...and if so, to link to your latest blog post.
So, if you're looking for a linkback...go to one of these posts...read it...absorb it...and make a helpful, constructive, valuable comment. And, while giving something of value, the blogger gives you something of value in return.
PLEASE remember...if you use these tools, do it with integrity. If you spam ("Great post, Joe. Thanks!"), your comments should be (and hopefully WILL BE) deleted. But even if they aren't...you have made the world a little bit crappier place. So grow up and do it right! ;-) |
